Reconstruction and rehabilitation of the ‘Tifferet Yisrael’ synagogue
The 'Tifferet Yisrael' synagogue was built from 1864 to 1872 by the Hassidic leader Rabbi Nissan Beck.

The synagogue's dome was built with the aid of a donation by Austrian Emperor Franz Josef.

This synagogue too was destroyed in the War of Independence in 1948 and never rebuilt.
